Sun Shower Fruit Drink

NBI Juiceworks started with three flavors of nectarine juice, including two blends with other fruits offered under the Sun Shower brand. Why did you choose nectarines as the strategic ingredient featured in all your company’s juice and smoothie products?

“Nectarines are of one of the few “mainstream un-juiced fruits” that inherently contain terrific health benefits along with tantalizingly great taste. It blends beautifully with other fruits and stands alone as a segment within juice and the overall world of produce. They require special manufacturing and care in production to insure color, texture, sweetness, overall taste and nutrient value are obtained.

NBI Juiceworks has a method of use patent pending whereby we are the only company allowed to legally produce juice from a nectarine and sell it in the United States.”

Your juice is "pure pressed" and you use cold-fill “flash pasteurization”. What does that mean to your consumers?

“It means that they will get the freshest, cleanest, most crisp juice along with natural nutrients and colors from the fruit. Pure pressing filters out impurities and excess sugars, and leaves only the best juice for our consumers. It’s pasteurized for product/food safety and enables us to offer more than 90 days of shelf life on our products.”

You have a variety of products sold under different brands. What brand names should people who are interested in purchasing your beverages look for?

“We offer products that fall into two specific brands; Sun Shower, fortified with Lifeguard TM protection and Drenchers, fortified with Bodyguard TM protection. The Sun Shower fruit drink brand is always kept cold and merchandised in the chilled produce and chilled dairy set within most stores and offers more than 90 days of shelf life. Meanwhile, Drenchers is merchandised in the shelf stable section of most stores and offers one-year shelf life.”

Tell us about the beverages in the Super Juice, Fit ’N Lean and Super Blend product lines.

Super Juice: (Offered by both Sun Shower and Drenchers)

• All Natural and 100 percent Juice
• The flavor name of each product clearly identifies the consumer benefit – no more “hunting around” for your nutrition.
• Each item in the line provides a single minded consumer benefit, such as Endurance, Power, Restore, Immunity, and Heart Healthy.
• Each of the sku’s contains a customized fortification package of essential vitamins, minerals, amino acids and herbs. This, along with the benefits of 100 percent juice and real fruit inside, provide the single-minded benefit to the consumer.

Fit ‘N Lean: (Drenchers; the Sun Shower equivalent is called Light ‘N Healthy)

• We removed the large amounts of sugars and calories associated with 100 percent juices but left the positive customized nutritional package so that consumers can enjoy the superior healthful refreshment of Fit ‘N Lean.
• Each item in this line also provides a single minded consumer benefit, such as Endurance, Power, Restore, Immunity, and Heart Healthy, but again without all the calories and/or sugar that comes with 100 percent fruit juices. Only 10 calories per 8 oz glass, very low in carbohydrates and sugars.

Sun Shower Iced Coffee

Super Blends: (offered by both Sun Shower and Drenchers)

• Super Blends provide superior healthful indulgence in the form of Iced Coffee, Mocha Cappuccino, Chai Tea Latte, and Chocolate Raspberry Frappes. They are the only antioxidant fortified coffee/tea beverage on the market. Each product contains a nutritional fortification package with powerful antioxidant vitamins A, E and Zinc

• Low in fat
• Have half the carbs, sugar and calories of competition, containing only 70 calories per 9.5 oz bottle.
