My husband, daughter and I all suffer from insomnia. We've been using Alteril for the past week and all agree it's helped us sleep sounder, wake up less during the night and feel more rested. Best of all, there's no prescription-drug hangover like we all hated when taking Ambien or Lunesta. Too bad the company's business practices are so tacky.

found some alteril on the shelf at walmart last week and ever since, i've been sleeping soundly. i had never seen any infomercials for this product, so thankfully i am NOT biased. futhermore, the price was comparable, if not cheaper than the other OTC sleep meds on the shelf! not sure what all this grumbling is about b/c this product is great. don't let the poor customer service and marketing influence you. if you're a light sleeper like me who takes forever to fall asleep, alteril will most likely HELP you.

Don't buy Alteril....overpriced, even at Wal-Mart, and does NOT work AT ALL! Big waste of money.
