Yes indeed! But it is a risk, and many people think that if a little is good, a lot is better. So we are always very careful to alert folks to any potential health problems. This way they can make up their own mind and use all supplements wisely and carefully.

I would caution against colloidal silver products, however, as there are some negative side effects (like turning blue!) that cannot be reversed. As for talking to doctors about natural medications, it is important that anyone with an underlying medical condition or taking prescription medications consult their physician before taking nutritional supplements or herbs. Some supplements can impact prescription medications, either magnifying or diminishing their effectiveness. Communications with health care professionals is important.

In some cases the minerals in multivitamins are not absorbed at all due to the form used and their combination with other minerals. Americans can't eat a healthy well balanced diet because it is not available to most. Organics are not easily obtainable in some parts of the country, are expensive in all parts, and colloidal minerals are available and comparatively inexpensive. While nothing is a cure all, colloidal minerals can be very helpful to most people. Conventional doctors are not the place to go for opinions on natural medications and supplements. Most of them still think there is nothing wrong with artificial sweeteners, GMOs, or high fructose corn syrup.
