Most of my 40s and 50s I also had Fibromyalgia, and at age 57 switched docs to an anti-aging one.
The new doc prescribed me 800mg magnesium a day, divided am and pm. Like you, no more muscle pains. Better sleep, too, and my bone density was improving last dexiscan.
Now, if only the FDA hadn't outlawed human growth hormone for anti-aging I'd be in great shape. (After the early 20s the function of growth hormone is to repair the body.)

-- Contributed by: Jeanne GrunertI was diagnosed with FM Fibromyalgi, almost 20 years ago now. Pain management has always been part of my life, and because of an upset stomach a few weeks ago, I purchased magnesium tablets fizzy pop ones 350 mg. within 2 days my pain decreased by 70%, I am shocked, happy and angry that I suffered this long not knowing about magnesium! More energy, depression gone, no CFS symptoms, wow, I wish I knew about this a long time ago.

-- Contributed by: Jeanne GrunertHello, my symptoms are when I put my body under any stress (gardening for a few hours) or lots of excercise I get sharp pains in my legs and arms sort of shooting pains, would this be a deficiency ?
