Carol, there are dozens of reasons why you could be losing hair. Some are normal (hair does naturally shed) while others indicate medical conditions such as thyroid disease. If your hair loss is severe (chunks are coming out or it just seems heavier than normal), please see a doctor first before popping vitamin B. While vitamins probably won't hurt, you could be delaying diagnosis of another problem - or simply getting some reassurance that nothing is wrong. Good luck and good health to you!
